A PRIMITIVE IN THE THIRD MILLENNIUM

This collection of works is conceived by the child in us, who loves to imagine what today a hypothetical prehistoric man would paint on the rocky wall of the cave. No more horses or bisons, because they are no longer visible in the cities where we live. Andrea Benetti portrays what are now some of the symbols of our civilization, present in everyday life. The symbols are cars, planes, scooters, sailboats, golfers and floral arrangements. The works are composed of bas-reliefs created with chalk on canvas, antiqued with cocoa, turmeric, henna, coffee and finished with oil colors.
