Dieng Green Geo Village is Geothermal developments that is situated in an unusual setting for a Geothermal Power Plant to be located. Usually, Geothermal developments are situated up above the mountain and in the middle of the forest, with no other activities than the geothermal mining. However, in Dieng, Geothermal developments are located among an existing settlement, plantation, strategic areas for Environmental, Socio-Cultural and Tourism sectors.
In this project, we are exploring the type of functions can be put in the area based on each potentials according to Baseline Analysis. The Geothermal development have to be in synergy with the potential surrounding development, create sense of belonging to the surrounding community and blend with the tourism context.
