I was asked to design a mid-priced accessory with a feature to 'sell off the shelf' because it would be unadvertised so I created the Rapunzel Hair Salon. It features hair extensions that attach to the doll's head with Pascal shaped hair clips. The extensions join together like pop beads this way the child can use the scissors to 'cut' the hair and reattached over and over. The child can pile the hair on the doll's head and create elaborate hairstyles that 'pop' together. Lots of wonderful details and cues from the film make it memorable.
