I helped a small group of stitcher make the slave girls' outfits. The outer fabric of the corsets they wore, was faux velvet. The corsets were designed with spiral boning so that they girls could dance in them. The corsets closed with a quick release so that we could do quick changes with them. The strips are also faux velvet. The main sash is a type of brocade.
I also altered almost every outfit in the masquerade scene because most of the suits were rented.
I also helped paint the main stage floor.
