Sew What
These alphabets were curated from over 200 sewn characters; A poster was made to emulate the process by which they were created.
The one weight was created by merely sewing the letterform and embracing different means of stitching. While the other was created by purposely jamming the machine and going over the same area again and again; far less control was used and anything was allowed to happen, or rather not. A poster was created to showcase both weights and emulate the process by which they were created.
This typeface was a finalist in the AIGA Flux Student Design Competition and a recipient of an ADDY, both in the year 2023.
