Information Package for Third Culture Kids - Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are kids who have grown up in multiple countries and therefore have accumulated elements of various cultures into what is known as a ‘third culture’. This welcome package was designed to help prevent long-term problems that may develop as a result of moving countries.
The aim of this package is to inform TCKs and their parents, raise awareness about issues surrounding the TCK experience, and help create a sense of belonging.
Given to diplomatic families on arrival in New Zealand, this package would be part of an international series,each designed specifically for a country.
This projected was submitted for my final major and has been selected to enter the New Zealand BeST Design Awards in October 2010.
