AIGA San Francisco {competition creation/production, call for entries, website} - After creating the Social Impact chair on the AIGA San Francisco board of directors, the next step was to fill the void in recognizing and celebrating design for social good. This impetus led to the creation of cause/affect, the international design competition celebrating the work of designers and organizations who set out to positively impact society. The first of its kind competition received entries from across the globe, and culminated in an awards ceremony that got like-minded individuals into one room, spawning future do-gooder projects and partnerships.
