FUJI is the new hood proposal in the Elica’s new evolution line. The name FUJI is inspired by the highest mountain, Mount Fuji, in Japan. The kanji for Mount Fuji, ? and ?, mean "wealth" or "abundant" and "a man with a certain status" respectively.

The hood FUJI is a hanging extractor hood mounted on the ceiling, and it's designed for island kitchen units at the center of a space. Thanks to the iconic silhouette that recalls the shape of Mount Fuji, it gives the audience the same impression of being independent in a environment. The hood Fuji is characterized by the bumped and rounded top to give the mountain shape. Moreover, it has the rectangular shaped base that coherent to other kitchen furniture. All of the finishes are embellished with white or polished steel inserts, with attention to every detail.
