Chair X
Chair X is a multiple-use chair. Its structure and material chosen demonstrate the 70's furniture design aesthetic applied in the contemporary era. It challenges the two main technology revolutions of chair design history, high pressure plywood seat and cantilever structure. Chair X is aimed to push the boundary and combine two main features in a chair. It is designed with X-shape contouring which provokes the sensation of instability. The chair has the possibility to be flipped over between two sides with two different kind of base, using as a normal chair or a rocking chair.
