Cell phone challenge - This project was done through a work-internship at: Ove Industrial Design Ltd. - 2002. I was given the challenge of designing 6 cell phones for 6 different markets. The main challenge was to keep the forms similar, this was to keep the tooling costs to a minimum. This is a marker rendering of the cell phone designed for the Industrial Market. If you would like to see the other 5 cell phones, contact me. adam.shepperdley@gmail.com
Step stool - This step stool was designed to be inexpensive to manufacture. The parts were kept to a minimum and inexpensive manufacturing processes were used. The image above shows two solidworks models and photos of a half scale model I built. For more information on this project, contact me. adam.shepperdley@gmail.com
Ricochet development - This page illustrates the development of the Ricochet Snowboard Trainer. Sketches, marker renderings, half-scale and full-scale foam molels helped me develop this concept. The final outcome is on the next page. For more information on this project, contact me. adam.shepperdley@gmail.com
Ricochet Snowboard Trainer - This page illustrates the final outcome of the Ricochet Snowboard Trainer. The design was built and drafted in Solidworks. Next, a full-scale prototype was built. This project was entered in the ROCKET Industrial Design competition held at the Design Exchange, downtown Toronto, ON, Canada. This project won 1st place in the sporting goods category.
