Work placement internship with Sawaya&Moroni
As part of my placement year I worked in Italy for the contemporary interior and furniture design company Sawaya&Moroni. The brand is known best for their collaborations with architects such as Michel Graves, Ettore Sottsass and Zaha Hadid.
I worked for a period of six months from September 2015 to the end of February 2016. during my time there I created CAD models of existing and new furniture pieces. The models would be rendered in 3d replicas of interior spaces. some of the spaces I also helped design.
The images i have provided are examples of some of the furniture I modelled and also renders of a bathroom I designed for a home in Derbyshire England
