Pyrography

Samples of my Pyrography. I enjoy this medium because by burning the wood you are not adding another material, like ink or paint, when creating the artwork - in a way, I am etching the surface of the material, this makes the light shine off the surface in an incredible way. I also like going for walks and finding fallen trees and making decorative pieces out of them.
