THE TRADITIONAL PERSIAN CARPET: SUSTAINABLE DESIGNING
aims to inter the concept of sustainability
in life cycle of Persian carpet.This could be
seen as an effort which tries to work in narrow space between design and craft which some experts believe is not as much as public idea intends.
This in minimum can add new values and
aspects to design and in higher levels helps to establish a better and more effective interaction between these two subjects supported by their great background in sense of creating better human life and their initial roots and parenthood. On the other hand this is a case study about systemic production approach for one of essential item of most Iranians and a lot of non Iranians house furniture which can pave the way for future projects about such items of material culture history.
