This is an exercise project to showcase my ability to put together a logical system that helps in automating a set of appliances that is responsible for household activity. The prominent feature of this particular home automation system is that it is controlled by simple text messaging. Hence there is no separate specialised app or any separate device or knowledge is required to run the system.
