These images + text represent a series of 2D projects I created and taught at Saint Mary's College. Aside for the last image, all were created entirely by me, using the Adobe Suite. The projects were all created digitally, and some were printed. The projects were as follows:
1.) "Power to the People" : Create a poster for large-format printing. Subject matter was to address future public utilities.
2. "ABC's": We studied typography in-depth, and created new fonts by hand. I took it a step further, and refined mine digitally.
3.) "Wish You Were Here": Create a post card of a real or fictional place. Print a hard copy and send it to your mother. Observe postal regulations.
4.) "Wall Paper": Design a background for digital viewing, such as a screen saver or website home page.
5.) "R.I.P." Research a movement in art history and write an obituary for it. Students created individual obit's and I assembled them. These were printed and posted the week of Halloween.
