RISING FOOTFALL
Advanced Surface Design is a concept based project which focuses on developing Woven and Printed Textile Surfaces. The concept of this Project is "Rising Footfall" that describes a state of unrest when people are fighting for a cause and they come together unanimously as a strong force. When masses assemble, the footfall rises and that is what is interpreted through this project through a series of explorations on various materials. The footprints are further simulated on to fabric surfaces using various techniques to achieve a novel furnishing range for a living space.
