Dixmont: Culminations - This model was built for the 'Beauty in Decay' show at Perry County Council for the Arts, Newport, PA. It is a 1:96 scale replica of the former Dixmont State Hospital. The right half is as it were when operational. The left is the desolate shell that remained at the time of demolition.

Scale model replica - The workload was shared in the construction of this massive replica of the Indiana County Courthouse housed on the Miniature Rail Road and Village platform at the Carnegie Science Center. My main role on this project was to build, mold, cast and paint the various windows, pillars and other fine details on this model.
Scale model replica - This was actually my first scale model, it was built while a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. It is a replica of the Monongahela Incline on the South Side of Pittsburgh. I have also uploaded an actual image of the building for comparison, please see the "Scale models" folder in my portfolio.
Actual Monongahela Incline - This is a photo of the Mon Incline. I posted this image for comparison to the scale replica I built. Please see the "Scale models" section of my portfolio for reference. [This image belongs to jimmywayne22 on Flikr]
3D Spatial study model - This simple paper model was built quickly to visually communicate my thoughts in 3D.
3D Spatial study model - I apologize for the poor quality of this image, but I feel it shows well enough how this model was used to study the layout of a gallery in development.
