Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Business - Led the design initiatives for the base business, including minor yearly revisions and packaging refresh initiatives to keep the brand current and engaging. Color standards were established and maintained by print vendors for a consistent shelf presentation.

Miracle-Gro® Singles - Individual single serve trend enabled Miracle-Gro to launch this easy to use alternative to the measure and scoop process. Convenient, easy, no mess made this a clear winner. The sub-brand is own-able using the packet for the "l' in Singles clearly shows how this product is used and it is very effective. Once the primary pack was designed, all secondary packaging, as well as the carton were all designed and extended with internal design resources with my oversight and direction.

LiquaFeed | LiquaFeed Advance - LiquaFeed is Miracle-Gro's most successful Launch in History. Sales reached 40mm in the first year. Involved in the every phase of the project, including ethnography research, product design, packaging design, brand and identity design. Key design influencer and consultant to the brand owners. After the design and refinement phase was over, worked diligently with external partners on all aspects of execution. LiquaFeed Advance launched 2 years later.

Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed - Led the design initiative for two new premium positioned products that offer additional benefits from the core line. Shake 'n Feed plus Moisture Control uses visual cues and equity that was established on Moisture Control Potting Mix. Iconography reinforces claims, as well as begins to create a consistent language across many MG sku's, i.e. LiquaFeed, Potting Mix, and Shake 'n Feed products.

Miracle-Gro Potting Mix and Garden Soils - Design lead for the package refresh initiative for Garden Soil and Potting Mix product lines, simplifying packaging, creating corridors of information and staying true to brand heritage. Art directed photo shoots, maintained budgets, managed all external partners in the design, development and implementation process. These Growing Media sku's trade consumers up from commodity soil/mix products to value-added products. This has been an extremely successful business model for MG.

Miracle-Gro® expand 'n gro - Expand ‘n Gro was introduced in the Spring of 2011. “Water Activate” communication and visualization resonated with consumers that something special and unique happens when water is added. It EXPANDS! An advocate for this communication, it was preferred over all other tested designs. Worked collaboratively with the printer and the prepress partner to successfully execute a challenging flexographic print scenario.
