During my 2-month stay in Singapore, I secured a 1-month internship with a local Product Design company called Creativeans. As a young, small company, I was straight away given important work to do, helping to develop designs for a new project that involved creating a new range of felt office and stationery products for a new brand. This process went right through from the brainstorming right to rendering and product prototyping, and I also helped in designing packaging for the products.
I also helped a small amount on a few other projects, and was taken to several large design exhibitions in the centre of Singapore, exposing me to the Asian design market.
Overall, this experience widened my view of design work as a whole, and gave me a whole new enthusiasm to work towards an exciting future.
