Lost at Sea Medium: Printmaking Linoleum cut This linoleum print was created as an illustration for Moby Dick. Inspiration for this piece was generated from “The Great Wave of Kanagawa” by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. Although Hokusai’s piece was a woodblock print the intention was to use implied line including positive and negative space to capture the force of nature.
Road to Nowhere Medium: Printmaking Linoleum cut This economic piece is a three color linoleum print. Inspiration came from the division between nature, advancement, and the road in between.
Free Falling Medium: Printmaking woodcut This is a wood etching print which evokes the standard of pride and liberty. It was created to show love of country, appreciation of military service, and patriotic attitude.
