Differing shades of one color. What do you think you see?
Ambient Metropolis:
At such height and speed, I perceive the city as an array of geometric light shapes and colors with areas of darkness interspersed between them. The forms and colors are connected patterns transforming the busy urban landscape into a vivid collage of energy and events; technology of mankind challenging the very fact of the night.
- I was inspired to create this painting after viewing a large city at night; from a very high altitude, and at great speed, in a commercial airliner.
