Job Posting Help

Below are some tangible ways to increase both the number and quality of the responses you receive to your job ad.

I can't log in to my account to post a job. What should I do?
You can have your login information resent to you via email by going to the 'Forgot Password' page. If that doesn't work then call us at 1-888-756-8282 (toll free) and our helpful staff will take care of you.

I forgot my password. Help!
You can have your login information resent to you via email by going to the 'Forgot Password' page. The system tracks your login info from the email address you used to register, if that email address is old and no longer working you can call us or email us and we can look up your login info for you.

How can I reset my password?
On your account summary page there is an option to 'Change Password'. Click that link and update either of them at any time.

How do I edit my job?
You can conveniently edit your job at anytime through your Coroflot account. Click on the active job and click on "edit." Once you have saved your changes your job will automatically be updated online.

How do I deactivate my job before the 90 days?
You can conveniently deactivate your job at anytime through your Coroflot account. Click on the active job and then select to deactivate the job. Once you have deactivated a job it will be kept for your reference within archived job section of your account.

What are the character limits for job postings?
The overall limit for all the fields is 12,000 characters. The main job description box has a character limit of 1,000. There is ample room to post all of your information and the system will notify you if you have gone over the character limit.

I'm not sure which field to post my job in?
We have done our best to come up with the most popular design related fields and specialties. Sometimes jobs do not fit exactly in one of the fields. In this case do your best and select the field that is closest, and then be more descriptive in the job title and job description. Coroflot job seekers understand that many design fields overlap and they will usually read your full job posting regardless of which field it's listed in.

How do I repost a job I've posted on Coroflot in the past?
Within your Coroflot account you have a section called "archived jobs." The archived jobs section keeps record of all the jobs you've posted in the past and allows you to conveniently repost them at anytime. Just click on the archived job you'd like to post and then click the repost job button. The system will allow you to make updates to the job before reposting it.

How do I pay for my job posting?
You have the option to pay either by credit card or by invoice. If you choose to pay by invoice, an invoice will automatically be emailed to you. Payment is due within 30 days. All of your billing information is listed under the "Purchases" section of your Coroflot account. Here you can conveniently print and keep track of invoices and receipts.

Can I post a job anonymously?
Yes. You can put "Confidential" in the company name field. Your email address for receiving applications will be visible to job seekers so you will need to list an address that does not reference the name of your company, or choose to have people mail or fax applications instead.

I purchased a job package, how do I know if I still have any job tokens left?
When you are logged into your account, if you have any job tokens left it will give you the option to "post a job now" and will tell you how many job posting tokens you have remaining. If you have used up all of your job tokens you will see the option to "Purchase a job posting." You have a full year to use up all of your job tokens if you purchase a job package.

Successful job posting advice:
Here are some suggestions to increase both the number and quality of the responses you receive to your job ad.

Be as descriptive as possible in explaining what the job entails. Give the job seeker an idea of the roles, responsibilities and duties s/he will have to fill, as well those with whom s/he will need to interact. Be as complete as possible, while still making the position sound genuinely and honestly exciting!

List the specific skills that you need your designers to bring with them. If applicable, tell what programs or processes your firm uses and would want new hires to know. If possible, let them know what training will be made available.

Give as much information about the company as you can. Let the designer know about the firm's past and present, notable accomplishments or clients, official policies or missions, standard practices or philosophies and as much contact information as possible.

Look at some of the other posted ads for good examples to use as models.

You may want to look through applicable designer portfolios for ideas on the skills you want in yours.
