Ice Pavilion

This project delved into the nature of structure whose components were simply one repeated particle for which I chose cubes. I was inspired by the pixel and of the modular nature of the pixel and what a digital idea could look like if modeled in real life. The constraints of the project limited the base to 10'x10' and required that there be a space fit for 2 people inside. I chose to create a small opening in the tower and to create an inconspicuous staircase made from the particles that would lead to a small viewing platform from which one can examine both the outside space and the nature of the refracted and reflected light, produced from both exterior and interior sources, from the glass cubes which I attempt to illustrate in my section.
