Rubber Band CAR
As a kid I was always been fascinated with building blocks. A nostalgic toy for me was the rubber band car, that most of us made with rubber bands, pencils, and hot glue.
Arielastic is a project that sprung from my interest with soapbox derbies and rubber band cars. Its design marries together two intriguing hobbies. My goal was to create a vehicle that users can build and destroy as desired - where he or she has the freedom to shape and control the speed by simply adjusting the amount of rubber bands or bungee cords used.
