Her mask has elements from her throne and the magic mirror. I'm also really happy with the custom embroidered trim on her bodice turned out.
My embroidery designs are always super loose in the sketches, since the timeline to design is so tight. The art evolves as I start working on the final file.
Since the photography took place during Covid lockdowns, I posed a working sample and sent tear sheets to the photographer and stylist for reference

Hades is one of my favorite characters, and was so fun to get to work on! Male outfits are always difficult to get much make into, but he had so many places to add movie detail
His flames are another detail I had to include, just to really bump up the evil
The belt and eye of fate accessories bring in design language from his lair, and getting the smoke cloud to work in fabric was a highlight

I love Ursula, but she's a definite challenge to create an "outfit" for, considering that she's just an octopus lady
