When Panini purchased Donruss in 2009, they quickly added the NBA basketball license to our roster of brands. I had developed a new, sports-based trading card game to target kids and get them back to card collecting and decided to launch with the NBA first. This product increased Panini's market share, revenue and received a prestigious trading card industry award - rare for a trading card game in the sports card market. The initial launch was the number two selling product at retail. I later translated Adrenalyn into NFL football and NHL hockey versions. It is also still in production with soccer/football licenses in several countries around the world.
