energy backpack

scaraby - The aim of the project was to study regenerative energy sources and to develop from the knowledge gained aesthetically pleasant products to “harvest energy“. Scaraby is a zero emission generator, producing electricity out of solar and kinetic power. This makes it the perfect travel mate for expeditions which cannot be carried out without the use of electronic equipment. The compact and robust body based on the shape of a scarab beetle, protects the technical assemblies against shocks and splashes of water. Opened, a photovoltaic film flowers out producing electricity out of solar power. If the sun is not shining, the concealed expander can be pulled out and electricity is generated by induction. A rechargeable battery pack is located in the detachable heading section and can be stored in a place-saving manner.
