The photos in this full page ad were chosen to showcase clients successfully moving in activities many take for granted. The goal was to showcase an improved quality of life. To reinforce the messaging, the photos are emulating movement similar to steps elevating up and down. Rich colors were chosen to add depth along with silhouetting the runner to bring motion to the forefront.
The client had an existing booth that they wanted to create updated graphics for. The header and three panels are velcroed to the fabric display as is the podium graphic. NextStep currently display each of these panels in their lobby and hallway at their corporate office location. The Boston Strong graphic was designed in support of the victims at the Boston Marathon tragedy. Several of those injured became clients of NSBP. The display was meant as a visual representation of a technologically advanced company whose expertise and compassion made a difference in their clients lives. Visually, the established brand identity was carried over by silhouetting and masking images within the squares with rounded corners. The trade show display graphics were liked so much, they were adapted to work as a retractable banner for various PR events.
This file folder was designed to be handed out at trade show events so that attendees would have added value in a functional piece. The hope was the file folder would be saved and used at home or work. The trade show display graphics and print ad artwork were incorporated into the design. The high gloss aqueous coating and extra thick stock helped give this piece a tactile feel of substance and quality.
Three office locations were evaluated and merchandising solutions offered that would engage, impact and educate clients. A dynamic layout was created which could be easily adapted to the challenging footprint of each office space. A gallery, museum-style approach was taken in the design. Acrylic, vinyl and nickel finish hardware were recommended for materials so as to weave in a technological and timeless look and feel. The acrylic material used to showcase the client photography varied in size, thickness and distance from the wall. The staggered placement of images and color vinyl squares was meant to mimic the ups and downs that clients experience emotionally on the road to recovery. Images captured moments of motion and achievement – offering motivation and inspiration for those just beginning their journey and accomplishment for those reaching their goals.
A 3-dimensional logo was recommended for the lobby area with the tagline flush mount to the wall with the remaining 3-dimensional letters and mark mounted to the wall with standoffs to give more depth.
This wall is found at the Newton, MA location. The room is used for PR events as well as a work room for clients during physical therapy sessions. The goal was two-fold: design a backdrop for photos taken during PR events as well as creating a motivational setting for clients. It was important for the logo to be at the center with positive words such as: stamina, perseverance, courage and tenacity surrounding it.
